About the course
The Master of TESOL prepares students to teach English as an Additional Language (EAL) across diverse educational contexts in Australia, internationally and online. The course integrates current TESOL theory with research-led practice and is taught by internationally recognised experts. Students can also explore professional experience/placement options and a capstone subject in the final semester, with potential international study opportunities.

Students develop specialised TESOL knowledge and practical teaching skills to plan, deliver and evaluate EAL learning for varied learner needs and settings. The program builds capability in applying contemporary language-teaching research to classroom practice and professional decision-making. It also supports the development of reflective, adaptable educators prepared for a range of TESOL environments.
