About the course
Western’s Master of Teaching (Secondary) STEM is a professional teaching qualification that prepares graduates to teach STEM subjects in secondary schools. You’ll study curriculum and pedagogy alongside practical classroom learning, with professional experience placements in high school settings and a blend of on-campus and online learning. On graduation, you’ll be eligible to apply for teacher registration with NESA and meet national graduate teacher standards in secondary STEM education.

Graduates are prepared for careers as secondary school teachers with STEM specialisation, supporting learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics across high school settings.
