About the course
This Master of Public Policy builds advanced analytical and professional capability to tackle complex social, environmental and economic policy challenges. You’ll learn to analyse policy problems and design, implement and evaluate policy in demanding institutional and regulatory contexts, with assessments geared to real policy work. The course is shaped with stakeholder input and can include industry-linked projects and electives to develop specialist policy expertise at master’s level in public policy.

Graduates are prepared for policy-focused roles across government, the public sector, not-for-profit organisations and consulting. You’ll be equipped to contribute to evidence-based policy development, evaluation and performance reporting, and to advise decision-makers in complex governance environments. Typical pathways include policy analyst, ministerial or parliamentary adviser, evaluation and performance reporting officer, and policy consultant, supporting a professional career in public policy at master’s level.
