About the course
The Master of Public Health Extension (Public Health Research) develops advanced public health expertise with a strong focus on research-informed practice. You’ll build skills to design, interpret and apply public health research to address complex community health challenges, supporting effective and sustainable programs and policies. Study is offered flexibly, with full-time or part-time options, preparing you for leadership and specialist roles in public health at a master’s level in Health Sciences.
Career outcome
Graduates may work across government, health services, NGOs and community organisations in roles that combine public health strategy and research. Career paths can include public health researcher, project manager, health promotion officer, corporate wellness or wellbeing officer, Indigenous health officer, social policy advisor, social marketer, NDIS support coordinator, and consultancy/advocacy roles.
