About the course

UOW’s Master of Public Health (Climate and Environment) is a flexible one-year degree that builds advanced public health capability with a focus on climate and environmental impacts on population health. You develop analytical and policy skills to understand, design and evaluate sustainable public health responses for communities. This is a Master coursework programme in Health Sciences. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.

Career outcome

Graduates may work across government, NGOs and health services in roles such as public health officer, policy or program officer, health promotion practitioner, environmental health or climate-health project roles, and research support positions.
