About the course
This masters by coursework is for graduates with a four-year engineering qualification that is not accredited by Engineers Australia in their discipline. You’ll build advanced technical knowledge and professional competencies to work as a professional engineer, completing at least 12 weeks of engineering professional practice with a formal logbook and a substantial final-year research or design project. This is a Master coursework qualification in engineering. The programme strengthens advanced engineering design, systems analysis, and innovation management for complex industry projects.
What you might learn
You’ll learn to apply engineering techniques to complex and novel problems, validate tools and methods, and lead development of solutions to social and industrial challenges. The course develops project and engineering management skills, including stakeholder and business planning considerations and respectful partnerships with diverse communities. You’ll also design and document prototypes/specifications, communicate decisions effectively in teams using technology, and build ethical professional networks as a developing engineer.
