About the course
In this course, you will develop the relevant knowledge, practical and analytical skills required for podiatry practice, as well as extend your undergraduate skills of communication, ethical and reflective practice, collaboration, research, and leadership. This graduate entry course is delivered over three years. Foundational knowledge and skills are introduced in year one, with the focus on integration of prior science knowledge and principles into the context of podiatry in addition to the development of clinical skills.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for entry-level practice as podiatrists across public and private healthcare settings. Career pathways include community health services, hospitals (acute and subacute), multidisciplinary clinics and private practice, with scope to work in high-risk foot care, sports and musculoskeletal podiatry, wound care and prescribing within endorsed practice. This Masters-level podiatry qualification supports professional registration and clinical careers in podiatric medicine.
