If you are passionate about eye health, inspired by interdisciplinary healthcare, and looking for a career where professionals are in short supply, the UTS Master of Orthoptics is the perfect course for you. Orthoptists are eye therapists. They work alone and in collaborative and multidisciplinary teams to provide care for people with vision difficulties, eye discomfort and eye movement disorders. Today they are in high demand, using advanced technologies for assessment, diagnosis and non-surgical management of eye conditions.

As a graduate of the only postgraduate course for orthoptics in Australia, you’ll be positioned to start a rewarding career as a registered orthoptist. Your comprehensive, hands-on education will equip you with the skills and knowledge to excel in various clinical settings, including hospitals, private practices and specialist eye clinics.
