About the course

The Bachelor of Nursing prepares you to deliver high-quality care to individuals, families and communities. You’ll learn in a supportive environment with guaranteed clinical placements to help you complete 800 hours of professional experience, supported by on-campus simulation laboratories. Placements span acute care, medical–surgical units, aged care and rural health services across regional health districts, building confidence and employability as a nursing graduate.

Career outcome

Graduates are eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse, with opportunities in Australia and many overseas countries. Career pathways include clinical practice across hospitals, aged care, community and rural health services, as well as advanced roles such as clinical nurse specialist or consultant. Graduates may also move into education, management and research as Bachelor-qualified nursing professionals. Preparing graduates for nursing, allied health, and community care professional registration and graduate roles.
