About the course
This four-year degree develops specialist knowledge of how exercise can improve health and wellbeing and support prevention, rehabilitation and management of chronic disease, injury or disability. You’ll build skills to assess clients and prescribe and deliver evidence-based exercise programs, supported by substantial clinical placement experience. This is a Bachelor-level qualification in clinical exercise physiology and exercise-based allied health practice. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for work in clinical and community health settings delivering exercise-based assessment and intervention for people with chronic disease, injury or disability. Career pathways include roles aligned with accredited exercise physiology practice in hospitals, rehabilitation and private clinics, community health services, aged care, disability services and multidisciplinary allied health teams. This is a Bachelor-level pathway into clinical exercise physiology within sports and exercise science.
