About the course
The Master of Occupational Therapy prepares you for professional practice supporting people to participate in meaningful everyday activities across the lifespan. You’ll develop clinical reasoning, communication and culturally safe, ethical practice through blended learning, webinars and residential schools. The course includes community-based projects and work integrated learning, with placements across Tasmania where possible. This is a two-year full-time Master coursework degree in Occupational Therapy.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared to work as occupational therapists supporting people affected by disability, injury, illness or psychosocial challenges. Career opportunities include roles in hospitals, rehabilitation services, mental health, aged care, community health, disability services, rural and remote practice, and interdisciplinary teams. The degree builds evidence-based practice and professional competencies aligned to registration expectations. This is a Master coursework qualification leading to practice in Occupational Therapy.
