About the course
This Master of Midwifery is a postgraduate coursework program designed to build advanced knowledge and practical capability for contemporary maternity care. You’ll develop professional skills through problem-focused learning and extensive supervised clinical placement (800+ hours), supported by Curtin’s partnerships. The course is accredited and approved for eligibility to apply for midwife registration, preparing you for specialist practice in midwifery at master’s level.

Graduates are prepared to work as a midwife across maternity and women’s health services, applying evidence-informed care through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
