About the course
This master’s degree provides advanced training in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry, combining chemistry and biology to support drug discovery and development. You’ll build capabilities in designing, synthesising and characterising potential medicines, supported by laboratory practicals, instrumentation and computer modelling. The course also develops science communication and management skills, with exposure to emerging technologies such as AI, coding and responsible research practice in a global science context.
