About the course

This postgraduate Mechanical Engineering major builds intermediate and advanced capability in analysing, designing and manufacturing components, devices and machines, including heat and fluid-flow concepts within integrated engineering systems. It is designed for graduates of a four-year engineering degree not accredited by Engineers Australia in a related discipline, and is studied as part of the Master of Professional Engineering. This is master coursework study in mechanical engineering.

Graduates may pursue roles such as mechanical engineer, aeronautical engineer or mechatronic engineer.
