About the course

This course examines contemporary international development, focusing on sustainable development, poverty and inequality, and cross-cultural practice. You’ll build analytical and practical skills to design, evaluate and manage development initiatives, with opportunities to apply theory to real-world policy and community contexts. The Master of International Development prepares graduates for advanced practice in international development and related social policy fields.

Career outcome

Graduates may work across government, NGOs and international agencies in roles supporting development policy, program design and evaluation, humanitarian and community development, and advocacy.
