About the course
The Master of Global Health at UNSW Sydney develops skills to understand and respond to health challenges that cross borders, including health inequities, infectious disease, and the impact of social, environmental and policy factors. You’ll build capability in global health systems, program design and evaluation, and evidence-informed decision-making with a strong focus on real-world practice. This is a 1-year master’s coursework degree in health sciences. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles in global and public health across government, NGOs, international agencies, research organisations and health services. Career pathways may include global health program officer/manager, policy or advocacy adviser, monitoring and evaluation specialist, research or project coordinator, and health systems or development consultant. This is a master’s coursework qualification focused on global health practice and leadership in health sciences.
