About the course
The Master of Global Health explores the social, environmental, economic and political drivers of ill-health and health inequity worldwide. Designed for graduates from health and non-health backgrounds, it builds capability to analyse global health challenges and design responses that improve population wellbeing. You’ll study core global health concepts alongside biostatistics and epidemiology, with options for electives and a capstone project, dissertation or international placement in Master-level global health practice.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for professional roles in public and global health across government, NGOs, international agencies and health systems. The degree supports careers focused on health equity, program design and evaluation, policy and advocacy, and responding to global threats to health. Skills in epidemiology, biostatistics and applied global health practice also suit research, monitoring and implementation roles. This is a Master-level qualification for careers in global and public health.
