About the course
Deakin’s Master of Engineering (IFM) is a higher degree by research delivered through the Institute for Frontier Materials. You’ll complete a supervised research project and select supporting units while building advanced research skills and making a substantive contribution to knowledge. Designed as a pathway to PhD study or R&D careers, the degree is normally completed over two years in engineering. The programme strengthens advanced engineering design, systems analysis, and innovation management for complex industry projects.
