About the course

This Masters by Research develops advanced civil engineering expertise through an industry-focused research project. You’ll work with academic supervisors to investigate existing and emerging challenges, design and test solutions, and contribute new knowledge to the field. The degree emphasises independent research training and thesis preparation, supported by RMIT’s engineering facilities and links to industry. This is a masters by research qualification in civil engineering.

Graduates can pursue research and technical leadership roles across civil engineering consultancy, construction, transport, water and environmental infrastructure, and government agencies.
