About the course
The Master of Earth and Environmental Sciences builds advanced capability across key earth and environmental sub-disciplines, including environmental science, earth science, life sciences, conservation and research practice. You’ll study an integrated first-year core that highlights connections between fields, then apply contemporary tools such as drones, AI and coding for scientific data collection and analysis, with a focus on responsible research and work-ready skills. This is a Masters degree in environmental science.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across environmental and geoscience sectors, applying advanced field, analytical and data-driven skills to real-world problems. Career paths include environmental scientist, engineering geologist, exploration/field geologist, geochemist, geophysicist or geoscience technician, as well as roles in conservation and parks management. The course supports careers in industry, government and research settings. This is a Masters qualification in environmental science.
