About the course
This master’s degree develops advanced leadership in disability policy and practice for Developmental Educators working with people with disability, families and advocates. You’ll build work-relevant expertise to lead and improve services across disability, health and human services, with flexible delivery including online study and practical placement opportunities. It is a master’s qualification focused on developmental education and disability leadership practice.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared to practise as Developmental Educators across disability, health and human services settings and to contribute to leadership and service improvement. Potential roles include Developmental Educator, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, program coordinator, support coordinator and case manager. Employment may be with government and non-government human services organisations, NDIS-related services, or self-employment. This is a master’s course aligned to developmental education practice.
