About the course
Deakin’s Master of Cyber Security prepares you to investigate, mitigate and combat cybercrime in a rapidly evolving digital environment. You’ll build technical and organisational capability across areas such as system and information security, digital forensics, analytics, and the human and governance aspects of cyber threats. The course develops practical skills in secure software, penetration testing, threat intelligence and vulnerability assessment for master-level cyber security practice.

Graduates can pursue specialist roles protecting organisations across business, government and law enforcement. Typical pathways include risk analyst, information security specialist, DevSecOps developer, security operations analyst, cyber security consultant, penetration tester, information security auditor, and security or systems manager.
