About the course
The Master of Criminology (Research) is a research-focused degree that lets you investigate criminology and criminal justice issues such as criminal law, policing, youth and crime, drug policy, and social factors shaping justice. You complete a supervised thesis (up to 50,000 words) and a compulsory research-support unit, building advanced research capability. This is a Masters by research in criminology and law. The programme develops advanced legal analysis, professional practice skills, and specialist knowledge for complex legal and regulatory contexts.
