About the course
This Master by Research lets you deepen expertise in a chosen construction management area through independent, supervised research. You will design and conduct a substantial project and produce a thesis (up to 50,000 words), supported by an experienced supervisor, with at least one unit of coursework included. The course is suited to building new knowledge and advanced research capability in construction management and the built environment. The programme strengthens advanced engineering design, systems analysis, and innovation management for complex industry projects.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue research and specialist roles across construction and the built environment, including consultancy, project and construction management, policy and advisory work, or pathway study toward a PhD.
