The Master of Computer Science (advanced entry) is designed for students with prior computing qualifications who want to deepen technical expertise and specialise in advanced areas of computer science. You’ll study professional core and specialist units and can tailor the degree with one or two specialisations. The course culminates in a professional capstone or research project to build practical, job-ready skills in computing at master’s level. The programme deepens expertise in software architecture, data systems, and emerging technologies for advanced IT leadership.

Graduates can work across industries designing, implementing and evaluating computer science solutions, from business applications and web systems to managing IT environments.
