The Master of Arts (Advanced Seminar and Shorter Thesis) is a graduate research degree that allows you to pursue an area within humanities and social sciences that interests you. You complete a shorter thesis of 20,000–22,000 words based on original research, demonstrating engagement with current research and theoretical directions in your discipline. The program also provides specialist research support through workshops, seminars and coursework-based research training components.
