About the course
The Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science (Advanced) is a flexible undergraduate degree that lets you combine studies across humanities and sciences. You complete core liberal studies units (such as academic writing, critical thinking and ethics), choose a major from Arts or Science, and select supporting and elective units from the other faculty and shared pools. Advanced units add higher-level challenges, projects and accelerated learning in Arts & Humanities. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates develop broad analytical, communication and problem-solving skills through interdisciplinary study and advanced projects. Career pathways can span government, policy, research support, consulting, education, cultural and community organisations, science- or data-informed roles, and further postgraduate study.
