About the course

This double degree combines the Master of Architecture with the Master of Construction Management to prepare students for flexible careers across design and the commercial construction sector. The multidisciplinary structure builds capability to work across disciplines and understand contemporary built-environment practice. It integrates architectural knowledge with management and procurement-focused learning for industry-ready outcomes.

What you might learn

The course aims to develop advanced skills to manage an architectural practice and contribute effectively to cross-discipline project teams. Students build technical and management capability for construction/project management roles and learn to coordinate building procurement processes on behalf of clients. It also promotes sustainable thinking through the use of new materials and technologies alongside architectural history, theory and technology.

Career outcome

Graduates may pursue roles spanning architectural practice and the construction management sector, including working within cross-disciplinary design and delivery teams. Opportunities include construction or project management positions within medium to large general contracting companies, private project management consultancies, or client-side organisations overseeing procurement and delivery.
