About the course

Deakin’s Master of Applied Sport Science builds advanced expertise for sport scientists and high-performance managers across community to elite sport. You’ll develop capabilities in performance analysis, strength and conditioning, training design, program evaluation and high-performance leadership, supported by strong industry partnerships and access to specialist research expertise. The course offers flexible premium online study with applied learning and optional pathways toward research and PhD entry in sport science.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue roles supporting athlete performance and high-performance programs across professional clubs, institutes of sport and sporting organisations. Typical outcomes include sport scientist, performance analyst, strength and conditioning practitioner, high-performance manager/coordinator, and roles in athlete monitoring, program evaluation and performance support services.
