About the course
This postgraduate degree prepares you to work as an accredited Exercise Physiologist. You’ll learn to design, deliver and manage exercise, lifestyle and behaviour-change programs for healthy clients and people living with chronic conditions or injury. Training includes practical learning in specialist facilities and an extended industry placement, building clinical and leadership capability to work independently or within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This is a Masters course in clinical exercise physiology.
Career outcome
Graduates can work as Accredited Exercise Physiologists across public and private health settings. Career paths include hospitals and outpatient clinics, rehabilitation and chronic disease management services, disability and aged care, workplace injury rehabilitation and functional assessment, private practice (including your own clinic), and sports medicine support roles. Further study can lead to university research and leadership-focused roles. This is a Masters qualification in clinical exercise physiology.
