About the course
This Graduate Diploma builds specialist capability for the renewable energy and carbon sectors, responding to climate change and the transition away from fossil fuels. You’ll develop practical skills in areas such as energy auditing, carbon accounting, renewable energy system design and policy briefing, with a strong industry focus. Completion also provides a pathway into the final year of Murdoch’s Master of Renewable and Sustainable Energy in engineering and energy.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles supporting renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate change and environmental management initiatives. Career pathways span power generation and renewable energy organisations, manufacturing and installation, government and international aid agencies, and energy efficiency or environmental consultancies. Opportunities may also exist in university or private research organisations and local councils, applying graduate-level skills in energy and carbon management.
