About the course
The University Preparation Program (UPP) is a free, non-award course designed to build general academic skills and confidence for university study. It supports learners to develop writing, referencing, group work and presentation skills, alongside numeracy and basic science capability, while introducing university culture and study expectations. Completing the program provides an alternative pathway by meeting UTAS General Entry Requirements for further study. The programme builds core academic English, study skills, and subject fundamentals for university degree entry.
