About the course
University Pathways Fast Track (RMIT UP) is an accelerated pre-university pathway for high-achieving international students. It prepares you for university entry in around half the time of a typical Foundation Studies program, with intensive academic preparation and transition support. Delivered on campus in Melbourne, it is designed to build the skills and confidence needed for successful first-year study across a range of disciplines at RMIT. The programme builds core academic English, study skills, and subject fundamentals for university degree entry.
Career outcome
This Fast Track program is designed as a pathway rather than a career qualification, helping students progress to undergraduate study sooner. Graduates typically move into an RMIT bachelor degree, where they can then specialise toward professional careers in areas such as business, design, engineering, IT, science or health. The main outcome is improved academic readiness, study skills and familiarity with university expectations in a Foundation Studies setting. Supporting progression into undergraduate degree programmes in the chosen discipline.
