About the course
UOW College’s Foundation Studies (2 Sessions) is a pathway program designed for international students who have not met direct entry for a UOW bachelor’s degree. Across two 14‑week sessions, you build core academic skills such as time management, essay writing, teamwork and presentations, and learn university study expectations. Successful completion provides a guaranteed* pathway into first year of eligible UOW degrees in multiple streams. The programme builds core academic English, study skills, and subject fundamentals for university degree entry.
Career outcome
This foundation program is designed as a preparation pathway rather than a direct career qualification. By strengthening academic English, study habits, research, writing and presentation skills, it supports progression into a wide range of UOW bachelor degrees across business, IT, arts, communication, science, health and engineering streams. Completing this Foundation Studies (2 Sessions) course helps you transition confidently into undergraduate study and pursue career goals through your chosen degree.
