About the course
This course prepares you to advocate for social justice by learning how policy and politics shape communities and how reform can prevent injustices. You’ll study Australia’s political system, global social movements and key areas such as immigration, welfare and criminal justice, and build networks through industry-led learning. In third year, you complete a capstone with a professional placement or industry project in the justice sector in this bachelor justice discipline. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles focused on policy development, advocacy and social reform across the justice sector. You may work in local, state or federal government, public administration and safety agencies, NGOs and community organisations, or in international and humanitarian contexts. Typical pathways include policy officer, social policy adviser, community engagement or programme officer, research/analysis roles, and reform-focused project work supporting vulnerable and marginalised communities through this bachelor justice discipline.
