About the course

The Diploma of Science is a flexible entry-level qualification for students who want to explore science before committing to a degree or to upskill in a new discipline. You study core concepts across areas such as biology, chemistry, environmental science, GIS, physics and mathematics while building scientific problem-solving and critical thinking. Graduates may progress into CDU’s Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Environmental Science. The programme develops laboratory safety, sample handling, and basic analytical techniques for technical roles.
