The Diploma of Laws provides a broad introduction to Australian law, legal processes and core legal principles, while also allowing you to build specialist knowledge for work or further study. It is suited to those seeking legal understanding for professional contexts and to internationally qualified lawyers needing Australian law subjects. This diploma is a pathway to CDU’s Bachelor of Laws, but it is not a professional accreditation qualification in Law. The programme introduces legal documentation, office procedures, and foundational legal knowledge for support roles.

Graduates may use this diploma to support work in law-related and policy environments, including roles connected to politics, industrial relations and community advocacy.
