This Diploma of Laboratory Technology develops practical laboratory skills for work across scientific sectors. You’ll learn to use laboratory application software, plan and conduct laboratory or field work, analyse and interpret data, report results, and apply quality systems and continuous improvement. The qualification supports transferable skills relevant to chemical, medical/pathological, mining, biological and environmental laboratories as a diploma-level science pathway. The programme develops laboratory safety, sample handling, and basic analytical techniques for technical roles.
