This dual diploma, delivered through the Academy of Sport in partnership with the Parramatta Eels, builds practical capability in both leadership and project management within a professional sporting context. You learn to plan, coordinate and deliver projects, lead teams, manage stakeholders and support operational outcomes. Training is applied through work experience, guest speakers and a live project simulation based on the NRL Las Vegas initiative—ideal for Diploma-level management and project roles.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles supporting projects and teams across sport, events and broader business environments. Typical job outcomes include Project Officer, Project Administrator or Project Support Officer, as well as Team Leader, Supervisor and Operations Officer positions. The skills developed—coordinating work, engaging stakeholders and contributing to delivery and performance—also suit Event Support Officer and coordinator roles in organisational and project settings at Diploma level in business and management.
