About the course
This diploma provides a supported entry pathway into IT study, combining foundation information technology units with academic skills development. You’ll build practical technical knowledge while preparing for further university learning. On completion, you can progress into the Bachelor of Information Technology with up to eight units of credit. It is delivered through SCU College with embedded learning support and online resources for Diploma-level IT study. The programme delivers hands-on programming, networking, and technical support skills for IT employment.

Graduates gain foundational IT and academic skills suited to entry-level support roles and further study. The course prepares you to work with basic programming and web-related tasks, and to develop core technical understanding in common IT settings.
