About the course
The Bachelor of Youth Work prepares you to support young people’s social and personal development and help them build a voice and sense of belonging in their communities. The course combines youth work theory with practical skills and includes substantial professional experience through supervised field placements. It is designed to meet community demand for highly trained, empathetic youth workers and is delivered as an undergraduate youth work qualification. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.

Graduates can work across community and public-sector youth services, supporting young people and families through outreach, advocacy and wellbeing programs.
