About the course
This diploma prepares you for work in the global hotel industry, building practical management capability for those starting out or changing careers. Delivered through the University’s Hotel School, it covers hotel operations across food and beverage, accommodation, finance, communication and management. The course can also be used as a pathway into the Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management with credit available for prior study in hotel management at diploma level. The programme introduces business operations, customer service, and administrative leadership for commercial workplaces.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles across hotel and accommodation services, including front office and guest services, food and beverage operations, accommodation or rooms division support, and entry-level supervisory positions. The course builds skills relevant to operational management, communication and business fundamentals used in hospitality organisations. This supports early-career progression in hotel management within the hospitality and tourism sector at diploma level.
