About the course
This Diploma of Engineering is a pathway qualification designed to build foundational engineering knowledge and practical, industry-relevant skills for paraprofessional work. Aimed at school leavers and trade-qualified applicants, it supports upskilling into technical, project support and supervisory roles across infrastructure, manufacturing and production. Successful completion can provide entry and up to eight units of credit toward the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in engineering.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue paraprofessional engineering roles supporting engineers in infrastructure, manufacturing and production environments. The course develops practical and technical capability suited to roles such as engineering technician/assistant, project support officer, or technical and supervisory team positions.
