About the course
The Diploma of Education is a one-year course designed to build foundational knowledge and skills for study and work in education. Students select a specialisation spanning early childhood, primary, or secondary pathways, including STEM, humanities and technology options. The program is delivered through SCU College with embedded learning support and can provide up to eight units of credit toward related bachelor degrees. This Diploma in Education & Teaching also prepares students for paraprofessional roles.

Graduates may pursue entry-level paraprofessional roles in education settings, supporting teaching and learning in schools or related services.
