About the course
The Graduate Diploma in Science is designed for graduates who have majored in mathematics, physics or statistics and want to deepen their expertise. In one year of full-time study (or part-time equivalent), you’ll select from a range of courses to build specialised knowledge and advanced scientific skills. The program supports progression to research-focused pathways and strengthens analytical capability in a Graduate Diploma level science qualification. The programme deepens scientific methodology, data interpretation, and applied research skills for laboratory and field-based careers.

Graduates can pursue roles requiring strong quantitative and analytical capability across industry, government and research settings. Depending on your study focus, pathways may include further higher-degree study, research support and analyst-type roles in scientific and technical environments.
