About the course
QUT’s Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound provides a nationally accredited pathway for health science professionals to qualify as sonographers. Delivered mainly online, it combines interactive learning and ultrasound simulators with three optional one-week intensive blocks at QUT’s Gardens Point campus, plus clinical experience throughout each semester. The course builds the scientific and technical foundations needed to use, assess and evaluate ultrasound equipment and techniques in medical imaging practice.
