About the course
The Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health Promotion is designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers seeking to strengthen community-level health promotion practice. You’ll build skills to identify local health needs, develop practical action plans and deliver initiatives that support prevention and harm reduction. Study is multi-modal with predominantly online units and intensive block delivery, providing flexibility while engaging with applied, community-focused learning in health promotion.

Graduates may progress in roles focused on planning, delivering and evaluating Indigenous health promotion and community wellbeing initiatives. The course supports practitioners working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across health services, community-controlled organisations, public health programs and government or NGO settings.
