About the course
The Graduate Diploma in Built Environments allows you to develop skills by creating an individualised course of study. With the approval of the Course Coordinator, you can select subjects from across the broad range of disciplines offered by the Melbourne School of Design. It is designed for students who prefer flexibility, are exploring interests in the built environment, or want to enhance an existing relevant qualification through advanced study.
What you might learn
Students build tailored knowledge across built-environment disciplines through a flexible selection of Melbourne School of Design subjects. The course aims to develop advanced capabilities aligned to individual interests, helping students broaden or deepen expertise without committing to a single specialisation. It supports exploration of study and career directions while strengthening academic and professional skills relevant to the built environment.
Career outcome
Graduates can leverage the qualification to broaden employability across built-environment sectors by complementing prior study with advanced coursework.
