About the course
This combined diploma and bachelor pathway builds foundational creative industries skills before you progress into the second year of QUT’s Bachelor of Design – International. You’ll study in a supportive environment with blended learning, developing creative and critical approaches to designing products, services, systems and experiences. You graduate with two qualifications while completing the Diploma/Bachelor pathway in design. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Completing the Diploma in Creative Industries then progressing to the Bachelor of Design – International broadens career options across the design and creative industries. Depending on your chosen major, you can pursue roles in areas such as fashion, industrial and product design, interaction and user experience design, and visual communication/graphic design. This pathway supports entry into design practice and related creative roles at bachelor level. Preparing graduates for graphic design, multimedia production, advertising, and creative studio roles.
