About the course
This combined pathway lets you build foundational creative industries skills, then transition with full credit into the second year of QUT’s Bachelor of Creative Arts (excluding acting). You’ll study in a supportive, close-knit learning environment with experienced educators and a blended delivery model combining on-campus classes and online learning activities. Graduate with two qualifications in three years in the creative arts discipline. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
This diploma-to-degree pathway prepares you for diverse careers across the creative arts and creative industries, with opportunities shaped by your chosen major. After progressing into the Bachelor of Creative Arts, you can pursue work in areas such as animation, creative writing, drama, film and screen, music, or visual arts, including roles in creative production, performance, content creation and arts practice. Outcomes align to a combined Diploma and Bachelor in creative arts. Preparing graduates for graduate employment, professional traineeships, and further postgraduate study.
